Dear Raju India
Laura and I are back in the USA, and we just wanted to send you a quick note of thanks for providing us with such an extraordinary trip to India. We loved every moment of it.
Sohan was a fantastic driver, and he frequently went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that we were comfortable. Whether it was rush hour traffic in Jaipur or the crowded highways between cities, he made driving in India almost seem serene. We enjoyed his sense of humor, and we appreciated the way he pointed out interesting sights along the road, whether it was a brick factory, an ancient temple, or a family of monkeys. It is impossible to underestimate how much of our good time we owe directly to him.
All of the hotels were excellent, but we especially enjoyed the Gajner Palace and Amarya Haveli in Delhi. About the Gajner Palace, all I can say is WOW! We could have spent 10 days happily relaxing in its gardens.
The itinerary you developed for us was excellent. We enjoyed the variety of activities it included, and the Ranthambore Tiger Park was a particularly pleasant surprise. That is something we would not have thought to plan on our own, but it ended up being one of our favorite things.
I have attached the photo you took of Sohan, our friends, Jan and Missy, and us in Jaipur when we visited your offices as well as a photo of just Laura and I on an elephant at Amber Fort (taken by Sohan).
If you include us on your blog, please forward us the link, so we can see ourselves.
Thanks again for a wonderful trip!

First of all, I would like to thank you very much for the well organised trip you have planned for me between last 27 oct and 10 nov.
I was also pleased to meet you at Jaipur
good point - Very punctual. Always at time except once in 15 days. I always gave him fixed time to make him happy to do whatever he wanted and not just wait for me for hours.
- Car always cleaned early morning
- Defensive way of driving

I am a frequent traveler in India and also an expert destination in Paris where I live.
I have used Raju India on several trips starting in Feb 2006. I found him by chance on the internet and he proved to be knowledgeable, trustworthy and most of all a good and loyal person. I know that some of his clients post to talk about him - even though they are not regular posters - because they are happy about their trip and want to tell the rest of the world, that's how I feel ! and it ends up back firing at him. Raju is not a troll, he is a real travel organizer and all bad comments about him in Jaipur - from people who are also selling services - or from other places in India should be ignored. Tourism is a tough market and a cut throat business.
I am flying back to India in October, Raju is organizing my trip to Gujarat and then my 10 days in Pushkar during the camel fair. As a photographer, and a woman traveling alone, I would not want to deal with anyone else. If I was american I would say that I LOVE Raju, but being from a different culture I can say that I appreciate and respect his work and would not put my "Indian times" in other hands than his.

My husband and I just returned from a 17 day trip to India. My husband spent 3 months in India 30 years ago and had wanted to share it with me for quite some time. He initially did a good bit of the trip planning on his own because he was very definite about the areas he wanted me to experience. When he got the basic itinerary down, he realized he needed some help putting all the details together, getting drivers, guides, etc. We emailed Raju to ask for his help. He was responsive and helpful and provided the necessary assistance. My husband priced the same itinerary with several other organizations and Raju's prices were more reasonable.
Two days before our departure -on a Saturday - we learned that we would be unable to go to Darjeeling because of some political unrest that had turned violent (a portion of the trip that my husband had organized himself). We now had 3.5 days to replan with no time. My husband emailed Raju (it was Saturday evening in India) and he called us back from home. He told us not to worry and helped us completely reroute the trip and add Jaipur and Udaipur (not previously on the itinerary).
Everything was as promised - our driver Kapil was outstanding !!!! Raju even met us at our hotel in Jaipur to be sure that everything was going well (spent an hour with us!)
I know there has been skepticism posted about him and accusations about self promotion, but I can tell you from first hand experience that he is the "real deal" and more focused on customer service then we have experienced in quite some time !!
We shared our experience with our friends in Southern India who will also look to use Raju's services in the future.

My wife and I did a 2 week Rajasthan tour in Sept. 07, all organized through Raju / Real India Tours. Our trip (car & driver - great guy named Anil - hotels and other logistics) was very well organized and we were well taken care of. Raju did very well by us and I'd be happy to use him again if/when we return to India. I have no qualms recommending Raju.
